``registration

you can sign up with any name you want, but once you decide on your characters name, please change your display name. sure, this can realistically wait until you are approved or post your profile, but if you plan on filling out the app before posting it, then please change your name accordingly and make sure that your display name is all lowercase letters, and first and last names are requires, middle is optional, and please do not put punctuation in your display name. as for how many characters you can have, you can have as many as you'd like, but we ask they aren't all the same gender and/or species and/or age range. Try to keep it diverse.

``applying

on the note of applying, please post your application within 5 days of registering. we ask that you don't post any work in progress applications because, frankly, its not a long app. also, please fill out the application carefully and do not change the code. we'd also like for people to use people as play bys, and not drawn characters. and make sure you read the plot and are very familiar with the type of character you are creating, to make sure it fits in with the guidelines of the world we have created. if you are unsure of what kind of character to create, look at our current stats to see what we don't have very many of and what is needed! And yes, you can play a human in town. once you have been accepted, post in the face claim, and the job claim if applicable. you can also put the link to your application, relationship thread, and tracker thread in your profile under 'personal profile' when you edit.

``characters

as for what kind of characters are allowed, there are a lot of options. there are also many canon characters to choose from. you can play a regular human, a witch, or any fairy tale character or any classic fictional character of a magical sort that would work with the story. you can also choose to control a magical creature for your character to befriend or own, with permission. make your request in your application and the staff will let you know if it would be acceptable or not. if you need a specific board made for your character, simply fill out the request.

``graphics

we would love everyone on this site (and by love, i mean require) everyone to have a 230 x 400 avatar and a signature of their choice, as long as it does not stretch the page. Your playby must be at least somewhat of a celebrity. Models are ok, but no facebook pictures and no deviantart unless the owner has official information you can refer to. You may also add a 230 x 130 mini picture/gid by posting the link in the box marked 'gif' under the personal portion of your profile. In addition, you can also had a song to your personal profile by making an account at kiwi6.com, uploading whatever songs you want, and posting the url next to 'music' under your personal profile.

``activity

we will be posting activity checks and we would like for people to at least log on once a week at absolute minimum unless they post an absence. people who do not log in for two weeks will most likely be deleted, along with their character(s). you may have as many characters as you can handle, but if you choose to make more than one, try to make one boy for every two girl characters you have. and you must be able to keep them all active.

``roleplaying

we know everyone has a bad day every now and then, and we do not have a word count, but please try to at least match the person you are rping with. one or two sentences is simply not acceptable at all. along with that, please also do not insist on posting a full page with every post. details are descriptive writing are great, but it is very difficult to move the plot along if every post is so long and takes over an hour to write every time. a few descriptive paragraphs is perfect. also, no god-modding. you can not control what another person's character does or what happens to them in any way. we are a mature site, so language and mature content is acceptable, but just make SURE you put a warning in the title.

``anything else

if you are unsure of anything, just ask an admin before you go ahead and decide to do it or not. and if you have any ideas you think might be good for the site, run them by us!
